This a series of short, engaging and dynamic videos of up to 3 minutes where each IN SITU case study explains what their project is about, how it is linked to the place-based issues of their respective territory, what kind of transformation it can have in the locality where it takes place, and why it is innovative.
The IN SITU case studies are located in the 6 Lab areas of the project (2 each): Šibenik-Knin County, Croatia; Rauma and Eurajoki municipalities, Finland; West region, Iceland; Western coastal periphery, Ireland; Valmiera County, Latvia; and Azores archipelago, Portugal.
The videos were first showcased at the IN SITU Conference “Horizons of Sustainability: The Power of Creative Innovation for Transformation of Rural and Non-Urban Futures”, held in Šibenik, Croatia, from 25 to 27 September 2024, and organised within the project “IN SITU – Place-based Innovation of Cultural and Creative Industries in Non-urban Areas”. This event was co-organised by the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra and Kultura Nova Foundation in cooperation with the partners of the IN SITU project. The event received support by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme (Grant Agreement no. 101061747) and the Central European Initiative.
