This interactive digital version of the IN SITU book Situating culture: Exploring culture and creativity beyond the city is designed for digital reading, bringing together the stories, insights and resources of six European regions often considered peripheral. It reveals how their distinctive cultural ecologies, shaped by geography, history and community, are far from marginal. Drawing on the IN SITU Lab model, it shows how innovative forms of mapping can help communities understand, represent and strengthen the cultural foundations of their places.
