This Toolkit provides practical guidance for designing and implementing Lab-based research and activities in non-urban areas. It is structured around three stages—Understanding, Insight, and Actions—followed by a set of Guiding Principles for Lab-based approaches to local development. To support the practical application of these approaches, the Toolkit also includes a series of preparation worksheets covering stakeholder identification and mapping, the definition of priority areas for action, the selection of venues and methods, and the development of communication strategies.
